We are not owned by Getty Images. You will not find our pictures on Flickr, Photos.com, StockByte, FotoStock, or any other website owned by or affiliated with Getty. We maintain the exclusive right to sell and distribute our own images.

Getty Images is the largest and best stock photo company in the world. During the 2012 Olympics, it was impossible to watch the day’s outcome on the news without seeing an image owned by Getty. Getty has staff photographers working around the world to capture the day’s events as they happen.

While we are nowhere close to matching Getty’s worldwide coverage, we have them beat in New England. We are proud to offer more stock photos of New England settings than Getty Images. Getty currently has 24 pictures of purple lilacs. We have over 200. Getty currently has only 3 pictures of the pink lady slipper, which is the official New Hampshire state wildflower. We have 200 pictures of pink lady slippers as well as 23 pictures of the elusive white lady slipper. Getty has approximately 30 pictures of New England covered bridges. We have almost 800. Getty currently has 39 pictures of the Kancamagus Scenic Highway. We have 394. New England is our backyard and our specialty.

We’ve had several fellow photographers ask why we refuse to list our pictures on Flickr. We are not interested in lessening the value of our photographs by selling them to multiple buyers. While we might earn a few dollars selling our photos on Flickr, we are not interested in that type of mass market. Our photographs appeal to nature lovers and residents of New England. Someone looking for a picture of a warm, sandy beach will never understand the history behind New England’s rocky coastline.

It is our deepest desire to one day become part of the Getty Images family. Until then, our photographs will be sold only on our website and will include our Exclusive Rights guarantee.
